Problem Statement

TESCO Seri Iskandar, Perak, Malaysia is selling a large volume of wet food, which mainly consisted of meat and fish section and fruit and vegetables section. According to the manager, about 300 kg of food is disposed per day, where vegetables, meat and fish consist of 50%, 25% and 25% respectively. The manager kept their method of disposing the expired items as private and confidential. Nevertheless, as a team of chemical engineers, we try to find several environmental friendly, yet cost effective ways to convert these waste into wealth.
